Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). PLCs give principals, teachers and staff the opportunity to meet to discuss curriculum, assessments, and how to meet individual student needs.

All schools within the Greater Albany Public School District participate in these communities. During the school year the District has shortened school days — Early Release Wednesdays — so teachers can work together in PLCs.
