The members of the Human Resources Staff are available to assist individuals seeking employment and current employees with any matters related to the employment process or their current employment status.
Per contract, substitutes are not considered in-district employees.
Licensed Applicants: Greater Albany Schools is partnering with a new company called TeacherMatch which will provide the District an approach to advance, streamline, and facilitate recruiting and hiring. This new tool is a valid, research-based instrument backed by universities to screen teacher candidates for success in the classroom. It is the District’s goal to begin using this tool for future openings with Greater Albany Schools.
After you have applied for a licensed position, you will receive and email that will direct you to the TeacherMatch website to complete an assessment. You will only be allowed to do this assessment one time and it will become a part of your profile each time you apply for an opening with Albany Schools. It will be important to allow yourself approximately 90 minutes to complete the assessment.
