Don't forget to turn in your Campbell's Soup Labels, General Mills box Tops, And Santiam & Flavorpac UPC symbols! Write the student's name and classroom on the back and give them to their teacher. Once a month there is a drawing for a prize!

Pantherright Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are welcome and greatly appreciated at South Shore. Some of the ways parents and family can participate as a volunteer take only small amounts of time and can be an enormous asset to teachers and staff. Field Trips require enough adult supervision for a specific adult to child ratio. This makes every field trip a safe and enjoyable occasion for everyone. If you would like to volunteer in a classroom, first discuss the need with the classroom teacher. If you would like to volunteer in other areas of the school please consider becoming a member of the PTC. All volunteers must complete a criminal history check to work with students. The paper work for this can be obtained in the school office.

 

What do we do?

The PTA conducts fundraisers to help pay for classroom assemblies, in school and after school activities, field trips, artist in residence, and classroom technology.
The PTA also helps plan and provide volunteers for in school and after school activities including health screenings.
