The Greater Albany Public School District Transportation Department staff work to ensure the safety of all students in the district. Transportation safety is a shared responsibility that requires the active participation of bus drivers, school staff, parents, and students.

Bus Route Information
My Ride K12 Information
If your student uses GAPS transportation, the Traversa My Ride K12 App is a tool that provides secure access to student routing information and current bus location. This app gives parents information about students’ bus stops, bus numbers, bus drivers, and bus routes.
My Ride K12 Instructions (English)
How to access the My Ride K-12 website
- Using the Chrome browser, go to myridek12.tylerapp.com.
- If you do not already have a registered email, click Sign up.
- To register, enter your email address, a password and name.
- After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link in your email to confirm your registration through the My Ride K-12 website.
- When prompted, search for the name of the school district your child attends. If you need assistance, please contact your school district.
- Enter the unique information required by your district to find your student. Repeat this step to add additional students. If you need assistance, please contact your school district.
- Once you have linked to a student, click on that student's profile to see all relevant transportation information.
- To share a student link with another person, select a student and click the Share button.
- Enter the email of the person you would like to share with. That person will receive a confirmation email that will automatically link them to the shared student(s). Recipients must register with My Ride K-12, if they have not already; done so, to access the student's information.
How to access the My Ride K-12 mobile application
- Download My Ride K-12 from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- After the app installation is complete, open My Ride K-12.
- When prompted to find your school district, search for the name of the school district your child attends, if you need assistance, please contact your school district.
- Once you have selected your district, you will proceed to the login page. If you do not already have a registered email, click Register.
- To register, enter your email address, a password, and name.
- After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Tap on the link in your email to confirm your registration through the My Ride K-12 website.
- Log in, then find a student by going to My Students and choosing the + button. This will present the Add Student screen.
- Enter the unique information required by your district to find your student. Repeat this step to add additional students. If you need assistance, please contact your school district.
- Once you have linked to a student, click on that student's profile to see all relevant transportation information.
- Press the Share button to share a student link with someone else.
- Enter the email of the person you would like to share with. That person will receive a confirmation email that will automatically link them to the shared student(s). Recipients must register with My Ride K-12, if they have not already done so, to access the student information.
- Regularly check for updates to ensure that your device is running the latest version of the app.
- Remain logged into the app to receive district notifications, even when the app is not actively running.

North and Eastern border is Willamette River, extending south until the Riverside Drive and Walnut Drive area, then extends further south to Highway 34, where it extends west to the Calapooia River, then north to Queen Avenue extending (reaching to developments around Perfect Lane and Summerfield Court) until Queen and Broadway, and then to Queen and the railroad tracks, moving north to Pacific Boulevard, a little further west to Lafayette Street and back to the Willamette River on the north.
Lafayette Elementary Attendance Zone
North border starts at 24th Avenue over by Calapooia Middle School running east to Geary street, then extends down to 34th Avenue, running a little west to Hill Street, then extending south to a creek (that runs between Columbus Street and Lochner Road), then runs northwest along the creek until it reaches the railroad tracks, then extends north back to 34th Avenue running east to Ferry Street, and then back north encompassing the neighborhoods to the east of Marion Street) until again reaching the northern border of 24th Avenue.
Liberty Elementary Attendance Zone
North border starts at Queen Avenue and Broadway Street running west until the railroad tracks, then extending south along the tracks until diverting slightly west to Pacific Boulevard (after passing 36th Avenue), then running south to Linn Benton Community College, moving west to the Calapooia River and extends north along the river until returning to Queen Avenue and Broadway Street.
North Albany Elementary Attendance Zone
South border starts at Hyak Park and the Willamette River, running east and then north along the river, until reaching just north of Crocker Lane, then running south along the developments around Crocker Lane (extending west 3 or 4 blocks), until after Robinhood Lane at which point Crocker Lane becomes the western border, then running further south until Gibson Hill Road, diverting a little east to between Penny Lane and Broadway Street, then extending slightly south and then southwest (just north of West Thornton Lake Drive), until reaching Highway 20 and then returning back to Hyak Park and the Willamette River.
Oak Elementary Attendance Zone
Northern tip is at Geary Street and Grand Prairie Road, running southeast to Waverly Drive, then south then to east encompassing homes on Brookside Avenue, then south encompassing homes on Bartley Drive, then east to Interstate 5, continuing south until reaching Highway 34, then running west to Columbus Street, from there moving north to a creek immediately after Seven Mile Way, then running west to where Hill Street would intersect, extending north along Hill Street to 34th Avenue, running east to Geary Street and north again back to Grand Prairie Road.
Oak Grove Elementary School Attendance Zone
Southwestern tip starts at Highway 20 and Hyak Park running north along Rondo Street and then roughly along Bowers Slough to Independence Highway, then continuing north (with some segments reaching west of the highway) to about Springhill Drive (border extends further north slightly along Independence Highway and Buena Vista Road), then runs east to the Willamette River, running south along the river until jetting a little east to the Countryman Circle area, then running south again along the western edge of North Albany Park until after Robinhood Lane, then jetting a little west again to Crocker Lane, running south to Gibson Hill Road, then heading south again between Penny Lane and Broadway Street, then running southwest just north of West Thornton Lake Drive and then along Hurleywood Drive and then cutting south to Scenic Drive and Highway 20 and returning to Hyak Park.
Periwinkle Elementary Attendance Zone
Southwestern tip starts at Geary Street and Queen Avenue, running east along Queen Avenue to Waverly Drive, then running south to 21st Ave, running west again to Interstate 5, extending south again to about 36th Avenue, then extending west to about Bartley Place, then running north to Periwinkle Creek following the creek further west to Waverly Drive, then jetting slightly north to Grand Prairie Road, then going northwest along Grand Prairie Road to Geary Street, then running north back to Queen Avenue.
South Shore Elementary Attendance Zone
Northeastern tip starts at Pacific Boulevard and Interstate 5 running south along the Interstate to 21st Avenue, then running west to Waverly Drive, where it goes north to Queen Avenue, going west again to Hill Street, then north to Pacific Boulevard, and finally back east to northeast to Interstate 5.
Sunrise Elementary Attendance Zone
Southwester tip starts at 34th Avenue and the railroad tracks running north along the tracks, then east along Pacific Boulevard to Hill Street, then going south to Queen Avenue, then east to Geary Street, then going south to 34th Avenue, continuing west just past Marion Street, then going south again (just outside neighborhoods along Marion Street) until running along Ferry Street to 34th Street, and finally west back to the railroad tracks.

Southwestern tip is Pacific Boulevard and where Lafayette Street would intersect, then goes north to the Willamette River, running east then northeast along the river cutting east (about where Old Salem Road and Nygren Road intersect) to Interstate 5, then running south to Pacific Boulevard, and continuing to follow Pacific Boulevard southwest until returning to where Lafayette Street would intersect.
