How Will I Know if School is Delayed or Closed?
When weather or other conditions affect the school day, GAPS will notify families and staff as quickly as possible.
ParentSquare is the district's primary source for delay and closure notifications. Families should make sure their contact information is current with their school and that they are receiving ParentSquare messages.
Updates will also be posted on the GAPS homepage and district social media accounts.

What does the decision mean for my family?
SCHOOL CLOSED
No school or transportation.
School-sponsored trips, activities, and practices are canceled unless otherwise communicated.
TWO-HOUR DELAY
Schools begin two hours later than their regular start time. Buses run on snow routes (see the Transportation page for details). School ends at the regular time.
PM EVENTS CANCELED
All afternoon and evening events and activities are canceled. Coaches will reschedule if possible.
