Ongoing Benton County Behavioral Health Services*:
Outpatient Mental Health– Offers therapy, case management, skills training, psychiatry, group therapy and Peer Support. It is important to note that we only provide services to individuals that meet criteria for severe and persistent mental illness.
- “Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI)” means the current DSM diagnostic criteria for at least one of the following conditions, as a primary diagnosis for an adult 18 years of age or older:
- Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
- Major depressive disorder
- Bipolar disorder
- Anxiety disorders limited to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Schizotypal personality disorder
- Borderline personality disorder
- And impaired to an extent that substantially limits the individual’s consistent functioning in one or more of the following area’s
- Home environment
- Community Negotiations
- Social Relationships
- Vocational
Substance Use Disorder Treatment – Offers counseling, case management, group counseling, support in accessing inpatient or residential treatment and referrals. We also collaborate with primary care as part of the Medication Assisted Treatment Program to address opioid addiction.
