Statewide Testing Opt-Out

 

Under the Student Assessment Bill of Rights, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and Oregon’s school districts must provide families with a “Notice of Statewide Tests and Opt-out Form” 30 days before the start of statewide testing.

The 2024-25 Annual Notice for Statewide Tests is available in both English and Spanish. Opt-out forms are also available in English and Spanish and may be submitted to your child’s school. More information on statewide testing can be found here.
